Meeting Minutes 5/18/09:In attendance:Jayme Wardwell, Sandy Benson, Darren Burnham, Randy Bell, Jen Hudner Reviewed minutes from 4/21/09 meeting. Discussed Snack Shack, Sandy will touch base with baseball coaches to see who/when the shack needs to be restocked. Tina Gosselin has agreed to help out and collect monies earned so too much is not left in lock box. Softball needs to participate with snack shack volunteering. Randy will check into getting hotdogs donated 3rd field at Stinchfield discussed. Sandy will get her father to bring loam when the season is over so grass can be planted and we can have a third working field next year... Talked about low softball signups and reasons for it.. Questions about softball uniforms from last year? Where they all collected, will get in touch with Melissa and find out. What needs to be ordered for this year? Baseball/softball pictures? Darren will contact coaches, will ask Melissa to do the same Sandy will write to Sun Journal to ask about donations for a flag pole for Stinchfield. Darren followed up with contacting local law enforcement regarding sex offender registry and LYAA's responisbilities. Discussion about favortism among coaches, especially with own children and relatives? What do we do as a board..? Cheering registrations and Soccer registrations have been updated and will be sent out in the next week.... 4/21/09: In attendance: Darren Burnham, Warren Burnham, Sandy Benson, Jen Hudner Darren had meeting with baseball coaches and will work on list of people to get snack shack together. Flag pole for Stinchfield - maybe something short term can be worked on, Warren will check on getting larger one for between the three fields. Discussed the possibility of joining with town of Wayne in developing 3rd field, problems attached with this... Spring soccer program brought up, no field to do this? Tri-corner not possible because goal would be in field, can we use Leavitt's fields?? Clean up going well, have some possibilities for running of snack shack Sandy picked up town money from last year and asked for $1200 for this year, which is a reduction. Sex offenders discussed and registry mentioned, Darren will check into this.
